We visted old town twice in the last few months and initally we dined at o'connells irish pub after reading some reviews. Basic Fish and Chips was our dinner and at oconnells the portions were expensive, small and the "chips" were prefab (sysco) fries that were bland and limp. It could have been a kids meal in fact the only difference were two small pieces of fish instead of one. Then we tried Murphy's and the fish portions were larger very fresh and tasty, price was better and the chips were what you would expect fresh cut potato slices. The other sandwiches were also very good. And the beer is cheaper!! Murphy's has great atmosphere and live entertainment nightly hands down the better choice!
